This sweet little pink dessert represents the high point of my day today.
They have these cute little beauties at IKEA and they are called the Princess Cake. I found this gorgeous dessert just recently and, oh, I am so happy that I have. It has a sponge cake base which is filled with raspberry jam, whipped cream and vanilla custard and it is coated with the most adorable pink marzipan. Needless to say, it tastes just HEAVENLY!
See? It is so good I HAVE TO SCREAM WHEN I TALK ABOUT IT. IT IS AMAAAAZING!!!

Rhubarb And Cherry Crumb Bars
It’s summer time.
Yippee!
With both rhubarb and cherries in season, I have recently decided to use both these lovely ingredients in a dessert.
Crumb bars seemed like a good idea.
And they truly were…a good idea.
A great idea, in fact.
In these bars sweet-meets-tart-meets-buttery to create a delicious, flavorful and refreshing summer treat.
For me, these bars pretty much represent what summer is all about.
Here’s what we need.
