Hi friends! How are you doing?
Me and my son have been making Christmas ornaments over here. And we’d sure love to share.
They are really easy and a lot of.
I think there’s just something really special about making handmade ornaments?
All you need is some air dry clay, a rolling pin, a couple of Christmas cookie cutters, a straw, a few interestingly textured items to give your ornaments some lovely festive patterns, brush and watercolors and some yarn. That’s it.
To make our ornaments, we first rolled our clay into about 3 mm thickness.
We used our cutters to cut out various shapes.
We used a fir tree branch and a rolling print to make a fun imprint.
We also used a piece of burlap ribbon to make a pattern.
To make sure we’ll be able to hang our ornaments, we made holes in them using a straw.
Cute, right!
Love them!
We let the ornaments dry for a day or two. And then we painted them.
Finally we added festive pieces of yarn to be able to hang our ornaments.
Easy and fun.
We are wishing you the best Holiday Season!
We love you,
Petra and her family

New Pattern – Crochet Christmas Stocking Ornaments
I have just untangled myself from many balls of yarn for a minute to be able to let you know that another pattern has been born recently.
It is a pattern for crocheted Christmas Stocking Ornaments.
I guess there’s still enough time for you to create many colorful stockings for your Christmas tree this year!
Hooray!
They are so much fun to make, these little stockings.
And they can even be filled with a treat or two.
Of course, you can make them in as many different colors as you like.
Pure happiness, isn’t it?
Oh, gosh, do I LOVE this time of year!
Look, if you fill a single stocking with a few tiny little goodies and wrap it with cellophane, you’ll have some really lovely individual presents for your loved ones!
Sooo, if you like crocheting and if you like following patterns with almost endless number of pictures (57, actually) then you can have a look at this pattern here.
Enjoy!
With lots of love,
Petra

New Pattern – Crochet Angel Ornaments
Oh yes.
The project ‘Christmas Ornaments Galore’ continues over here… happily… wholeheartedly… ferociously.
Ferociously, Petra?Oh yes. At times.
I am very glad I can present a new happy result of this activity to you today – the Crochet Angel Ornaments.
Angels have always been a true love of mine.
They are so special, lovely and magical, aren’t they? I even like to feed them sometimes.
And these ones, with their colorful little dresses, are also quite playful and whimsical. I think they can make a nice addition to your Christmas tree ornament collection.
If you fancy crocheting and would like to create these little angel ornaments too, you can find the pattern here.
Enjoy!
And may your guardian angels watch over you!!
Love,
Petra
