(Update: To see the pattern for miniature crochet teddy bears, please visit my ONLINE SHOP!)
This world has a new teddy bear.
His name is Toby.
Toby is tiny.
He is actually the tiniest teddy bear I have ever created.
This is Happy.
She is very pleased to meet you.
Happy is a miniature handmade teddy bear.
She is called Happy because she was born on Sunday, and teddies born on Sundays are usually very cheerful and happy.
And so is she.
Days like the one I’ve had today are both great and terrible.
Great because I’ve found the most amazing and cute creatures in the whole wide universe.
And terrible… because I’ve found the most amazing and cute creatures in the whole wide universe… and I need them right now… and don’t have them right now.
Please, meet Momo.
And Happy Pinu.
They are totally, completely, undoubtedly alive.
And so lovable.
Aren’t you just adorable?
You are super, super, super cute.
These heart-melting babies are handmade and produced by the very talented Aintzi.
This amazingly crafty artist runs an Etsy shop called Knitting Dreams.
That place is astonishing.
What do you think, my friends?
Don’t you just love those guys?
I am seriously considering getting one of them into my life somehow.
Either I buy one, or I make one.
Hm, making one would definitely be a challenge, but so worth the effort.
But then, I really love to craft.
And I’ve happened to learn that the lovely fuzzy hair, the secret of those guys’ look, is made of mohair.
I am already thinking about where to get that… so I’m getting a slight clue where this all leads…
Will keep you posted!
My teddy has left for a holiday.
After all, he definitely deserved it – he’s been my sweetheart for such a long time.
You may be asking who he’s traveling with.
Well, it’s my new travel agency that I established recently.
I thought I should really let you know about it since you might be one of those people who would like to send their beloved toys somewhere for a wonderful trip and need that ‘someone‘ to arrange all the necessary details.
Please, feel free to enjoy the pictures from the places my teddy has visited…
First of all, it was Paris – shown on the picture above (he looks so incredibly happy there).
Then Egypt – what a wonderful place.
He was joyously excited over there.
The weather was wonderfully hot, there was a lot of water around and even some camel riding was possible.
What a pleasure it is to spend time on a beach.
Maybe your teddy will meet his/her long lost relative there.
Is your teddy into adrenaline?
Then why not try white-water rafting?
It’s so stress-relieving.
Oh, and this is something for those who are keen on flying.
What a bliss.
Your teddy also deserves some scrumptious yet healthy food.
All-in-all, your precious sweetie will be taken care of with the uttermost attention.
Now I’m sure all of your toy friends definitely want to go too.

Meanwhile, I am going to put a bit more thinking into the whole project…
