Crocheted Eyes, Many Many Crocheted Eyes (365/9)

I have spent a good portion of the day today trying to figure out the best eye design for my new crochet owl cushion. I ended up with about 15 slightly different eyes altogether. However, in the end I decided that I like the original version that I created first best. So I’ll stick to that one, I think.

It was still a sweet day, though.

Well, here they are, the colorful babies, my sky-touching joy, my newly finished project – the Crochet Owl Cushions!

Remember how I told you about my super secret owl mission in one of my last posts?

Sooo, this is it.

The whole idea has been brewing in my head since I finished my Owl Purse a few months ago. I knew that that project wanted to go even further. To bring more owl loveliness to you… and me too…

It took me about a month to put it all together… from sketches, through about 8 samples, up till today when I edited the last picture and wrote the last word in the pdf pattern.

Oh yes, of course there is a pattern. I live for the patterns. For cuteness needs to be shared, right?
