New Crochet Pattern – A Million Diamonds Blanket

After finishing this crocheted Million Diamonds Blanket I have to say that it is a pure love of mine.
I am completely and utterly smitten.
It was very enjoyable to make one colorful piece of diamond after another. So meditative. So much fun. As if a box of colorful jewels was being created right there in front of my eyes.
If you’d like to make a blanket like this as well, you can now find my take on this pattern in my shops here or here.
I decided to go for a smaller size because I can find a lot of use for it right now – a lap blanket, a baby blanket, perhaps a picnic blanket even… but whatever size you have in mind, I’d like to assure you that this pattern is extremely easy to adjust.

nail polish

I could not resist the temping call of this colorful nail polish aisle once again today.
These lovely metallic colors caught my eye. I chose the silver bottle and also one with a ‘crack you color‘ effect.
I wonder, have you ever tried anything like that? Did you like the effect? I am going to see what it does tomorrow.

Have you ever heard of Pinterest?

Many of you have, I am sure.

Pinterest is basically a very magical place. You can spend hours and hours there and you will think that something like five minutes only must have gone by.

It’s especially useful when there’s a lot of house cleaning waiting to be done. That’s for sure.

To be slightly more specific, Pinterest is a visual bookmarking site. So if you find a visually attractive picture somewhere in the deep wide web and you want to save that picture for later, you just add it to one of your boards on Pinterest. And that’s it. For me, it’s so much more effective to store pictures, sites, projects, or ideas in a visual way.
