I think it’s amazing how so few simple ingredients can together create a taste so divine.

Bruschetta with tomatoes and basil is just the perfect example of that.

After making these lovely bites today I am sure I am making more soon.

They are truly delicious! DELICIOUS!!

New Mug Love

retro mug with kids kissing toadstools and birds

(Day 68/365)

Okay, I admit that these things change in my life quite often, but for this week at least, this is my very favorite mug.

I think it’s just ADOOORABLE. It has two kids sharing a sweet kiss, it has hearts, it has toadstools and birds too. Pure love!

Thanks for letting me share my little obsessions!

Wishing you a nice, healthy and safe weekend!

Love,
Petra

Sweet Surprise

rose laying on an open book

(Day 67/365)

Can you imagine a better start to the day than being handed a beautiful rose by a smiling stranger first thing in the morning right after leaving your flat?

Well, this happened to me today. Ahh, what a bliss!

All I need to do now is bask in the radiance of my own uniqueness and try to forget that it is an International Women’s Day today and the local politicians seem to be very creative with their campaigns here, in my part of the world.

Still loved that moment, though… 🙂

Wishing you a happy happy day!

Love,
Petra

Evolution Of Crochet Pouf – Part 2

crochet pouf

(365/66)

The evolution of my crochet pouf slowly proceeds. Look, it’s gotten really big since the last time I showed it to you. I need to be careful because it might fill my whole place soon.

Anyhow, I already see a few things that I’d like to improve. For example, I could imagine a little fewer folds forming in the middle part of this floor cushion.

So, I guess, the second attempt starts soon.

I will definitely keep you updated on this matter of global importance.

I wish you an enjoyable day!

Love,
Petra
