I am stopping by to introduce my newest crochet creation to you – it’s the Crochet Owl Purse With Feathers.
Oh, how much I love making those feathers, they are soooo much fun!
This pattern actually is a remake of one of my older patterns – the Crochet Owl Cushion. After I published the cushion pattern a few years ago, I received quite a few questions asking me if the cushion could be turned into a purse. I thought,’Yes, it can and what a lovely idea it is!’ Actually, I found the idea so lovely that I thought it definitely deserved its own tutorial with all the steps described in precise detail.
And here it is. The pattern for the Crochet Owl Purse has more than 70 pictures making it really easy to follow.
If you’d like to learn more details about the project, you can find them HERE or HERE.
And have I already mentioned it’s a lot of fun?
Yes, I could not stop and made three versions. Don’t they make sweet summer bags?

Are you enjoying the early summer days? I hope you are.
I feel that the beautiful warm weather is just inviting me to go out every day and take delight in everything around me. The sun, the air, the trees… So, as a result, my little Mr. P and I love going out for a short stroll and when he falls asleep in his pushchair, I grab my crochet project and do some hooking. Sweet, sweet, sweet. These days I am indulging in my favorite crocodile stitch again. Actually, I took one of my old patterns and am giving it a new look and a new way of use. Cannot wait to show you more details. Soon!
Sending lots of summer hugs and kisses.
After finishing this crocheted Million Diamonds Blanket I have to say that it is a pure love of mine.
I am completely and utterly smitten.
It was very enjoyable to make one colorful piece of diamond after another. So meditative. So much fun. As if a box of colorful jewels was being created right there in front of my eyes.
If you’d like to make a blanket like this as well, you can now find my take on this pattern in my shops here or here.
I decided to go for a smaller size because I can find a lot of use for it right now – a lap blanket, a baby blanket, perhaps a picnic blanket even… but whatever size you have in mind, I’d like to assure you that this pattern is extremely easy to adjust.
