I have a little updtate for you about what’s been going on in my days recently.
Long story short, there’s been flowers.
Crocheted flowers.
More specifically, a LOT of crocheted flowers.
I am currently in the process of putting together my new crochet pattern… and, I guess it is not hard to guess, there will be flowers.
Can’t wait to show you the result.
And have I already told it will involve flowers?
Have a lovely weekend!
With lots of love,
Petra

LOVE your crochet flowers….I just said to my 16 year old daughter..”I just love those..maybe we need to learn to crochet…” to which she chuckles and says “uh, yah…” Okay, so maybe we won’t learn to crochet even though my mom crocheted (hmmm what is crochet past tense…)..and my grandma crochets….I’ve never gotten the hang of it.
Gorgeous. I love seeing your workspace….Aahhh if I could only crochet!
These are very cute. Lately I’ve been toying with the idea of crocheting, what is the best suggestion you can give a person who has no clue where to start. Any recommendations of books/websites for beginners. How-tos, etc? I have no experience what-so-ever and would love to start. Thanks!
Hi Krys! To start, you basically need to learn how to make just a few stitches – chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet stitch, half-double crochet stitch and double crochet stitch. You can find a lot of videos explaining these stitches on youtube, for example. Most of my patterns use these stitches only. I’d say it’s quite easy to learn the basics… so enjoy! 🙂 Petra
Lovely flowers.Also loved your workplace.
Oh goodness those are adorable! I love the vibrant colors, you’re very talented, Petra <3
Ah! More of your flowers! I can never get enough of these. I can’t wait to see what your new pattern’s going to be.
These flowers can be a little addictive…exciting!!!
