She is very pleased to meet you.

Happy is a miniature handmade teddy bear.

She is called Happy because she was born on Sunday, and teddies born on Sundays are usually very cheerful and happy.

And so is she.

It’s summer time.

Yippee!

With both rhubarb and cherries in season, I have recently decided to use both these lovely ingredients in a dessert.

Crumb bars seemed like a good idea.

And they truly were…a good idea.

A great idea, in fact.

In these bars sweet-meets-tart-meets-buttery to create a delicious, flavorful and refreshing summer treat.

For me, these bars pretty much represent what summer is all about.

Here’s what we need.

The Best Days

The best day in my world?

Making a little teddy bear all day long.

And listening to music while doing that.

And watching documentaries, too.

That is the best day I can have.

And that is exactly what I’ve had today.

Sweet.

Petra And The Colorful Company

This is going to be a slightly different post, I admit. Slightly different than all my teddy bear, cooking and traveling madness I usually do.

Anyway, this is what I experienced in the past few days.

And it was fun.

The fact is that I got invited into a printing company to make a few pictures. This has been the first job of this particular kind for me – normally it’s hard to get me out of my house. But it seems that sometimes you just have to go.

The good thing was that the whole project involved taking a lot of pictures – which I love most. And another good thing was that the company is owned by my boyfriend’s sister, so I didn’t feel super stressed out.

Just a little less than that.

There were interesting processes that I needed to concentrate on.

So I did.

Along the way, I really enjoyed learning about the particular machines.
