Caps.

Hand made caps.

My Mom’s made them.

This winter.

A purple cap.

Love the color.

Love the pom-pom.

They all have pom-poms.

I like the pattern.

And the colors, too.

This might be my most favorite one.

I love all shades of gray.

For some reason.

Cute, cute, cute.

See?

It’s totally in the genes.

With me it’s mostly slippers and purses that I feel this strange need to produce in dozens. My Mom, on the other hand, makes cap after cap after sweater after cap after sweater… after cap.

I love her.

Hey, guys! Do you also have an obsession that runs in your family and you love it?

I need to know…

I love them! I want one in every color please! 🙂

I used to have an obsession with pens. I loved collecting pens. And the more personality they had, the better! My dad tends to do this too but its mainly because he can never keep up with his and is always losing them.

I love to cook/bake as much as my mom hates to. I hate to sew as much as my mom love to. We get along just fine 🙂

My mom did teach me as a child how to knit and crochet. She taught me to sew too ~ I just don’t like to.

Cute beret’s. My mom made some for me when I was a little kid. You encouraged me to dig out some old pictures. 🙂

Hey Petra, fantastic caps. I love them. Would your Mom care to share the recipe? 🙂

My obsession is making scarves. I love to try out new patterns, from cables to lace, and the small amount of stitches on a scarf makes it so easy. I’ve given away some really pretty ones.

wow. those look great and i love the knitted caps. i need to learn how to do it because i find that stores don’t really have much variety of color, size, and pattern. if i could have one in every color and pattern, i totally would.

Those caps are absolutely gorgeous. GORGEOUS. I’m the only one that really makes anything in my family. I tend to notice I also enjoy making caps and things for wee babies. I really love those your mom did a lot. I’m going to have to find a nice crochet pattern similar.

    All caps are fabulous!
My mom is also somebody very creative, our house is full of her patchworks and carpets of all sizes. And our dog are sleeping on the pillow with embroidery!
Unfortunatelly I didn’t inherit her skills, but I try to find my own territory of realization – little pieces of tiffany glassworks.
And I’m so proud to do something with my hands!

Sorry, my english is terrible :o(

I have this need to make doilies, snowflakes, and angels, all in crochet thread size 10. My mom loved making doilies. I guess she passed it on to me.
